Their comprehensive knowledge in the highly specialized areas of orthopedic medicine includes arthroscopy and sports medicine, total joint replacement and complex joint reconstruction, fracture care, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and treatment of spinal disorders and injuries. This wide range of expertise allows the ability to create individualized treatment plans utilizing leading-edge skills and techniques. Practice Philosophy
We combine clinical expertise with a compassionate treatment philosophy, treating the whole person instead of simply treating the affected area. Our surgeons prefer non-surgical solutions. If surgery is the right approach, our team of physicians has skills in the latest techniques to effectively correct musculoskeletal problems.
History
Originally established as a two-physician orthopedic practice in Kalispell, Montana, in 1971, Flathead Valley Orthopedic Center, PC, has subsequently expanded to include subspecialty orthopedic care in spine, hand and upper extremity, sports, foot and ankle, and joint reconstruction. Having relocated to the Flathead Orthopedic Center in August 2000, Flathead Valley Orthopedic Center, PC, now offers state-of-the-art management of musculoskeletal problems with comprehensive care including on-site orthopedic urgent care, ambulatory surgery, advanced imaging, and physical and occupational therapy. Growth of the surrounding area has led to the addition of satellite clinics in Whitefish, Libby, Cut Bank, Lakeside and Eureka.
